NAHH Bursary Application and Guidelines

The NAHH are delighted to offer a bursary to one of their members who submits the most innovative abstract for the NAHH Conference 2018. The bursary covers the cost of a Member All Inclusive rate which equates to £345.00*

The Bursary Includes:    

- The full two day conference including refreshments and lunch

-  Set menu dinner on Thursday 4 October

-  Overnight accommodation on Thursday 4 Oct

-  A light sandwich lunch on Friday 5 October (lunch to go option will be available)

The successful applicant will be responsible for travel and all other expenses incurred.  


*Please note: The successful applicant will be processed as a complimentary booking. However if you are unable to attend and do not send an alternative person in your place without notifying us, you will be responsible for reimbursing NAHH with the £345.00 conference fee.


Anyone who has received a bursary from NAHH in the past is not eligible to apply for this bursary.


The bursary will be awarded during the Abstract Review Process and a successful abstract submission does not guarantee a bursary being awarded.


How to Apply 

To apply, please send a Statement of Need to Statement of Need must include the following information:


-Full Organisation Details/Name of Applicant applying for the bursary including full postal address

-Abstract Reference Number (located in the subject line of your Abstract confirmation email)

-Detail about how attending the conference will benefit you/colleagues

-Whether you have attended the conference before

Should your bursary application be unsuccessful it is still possible to present an accepted abstract at the conference should alternative funding become available to you.


Post Conference 

You will be required to provide a photograph of you/colleagues at the conference and write a testimonial about the NAHH Conference 2018. This should include detail about how you benefited from attending the conference which NAHH can use on their website.
